Trailer 1 reveals Grand Theft Auto VI, Lucia, Jason and Leonida
Rockstar's first GTA VI trailer revealed the title, the return to Vice City in the state of Leonida, and protagonists Lucia and Jason, all set to Tom Petty's "Love Is a Long Road."
Rockstar released Trailer 1 for Grand Theft Auto VI on December 4, 2023, a little earlier than planned after a low-quality copy leaked online.
The trailer confirmed the game's setting, Vice City in the fictional state of Leonida, and introduced Lucia, the series' first main female protagonist who isn't just an optional character, alongside her partner Jason.
Its soundtrack was Tom Petty's "Love Is a Long Road." At the time the trailer promised a 2025 release, which later moved twice.
