GTA VI radio stations revealed, plus in-game podcasts
Rockstar previewed the first in-game radio stations, including a returning Flash FM, and confirmed on-demand podcasts for Jason and Lucia.
On October 8, 2026, Rockstar published a Newswire feature on the music of Grand Theft Auto VI's in-game radio. GamesRadar's report on that announcement names six stations: Cocoteo FM (modern Latin), Back Country Radio (classic outlaw country), Afro Bank FM (African music), The Chamber 106.6 (classic metal), Flash FM (modern pop) and Dirty South Classics (old-school rap and hip-hop).
Flash FM is a familiar name for longtime fans: it was the 1980s pop station in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. In GTA VI it is described as playing modern pop.
The bigger change is podcasts. According to the report, Jason and Lucia can listen to on-demand podcasts through their in-game phones, on foot or in a vehicle. Rockstar presented this as a first for the series.
Rockstar's own music page names each station's in-game DJs, such as El Martillo and La Gata on Cocoteo. Several outlets also report which real artists voice those DJs; we track that on our Rumors & analysis page until we can confirm it in a Rockstar source.
