Handle with care

Nothing on this page is confirmed. Each entry shows its label, how confident we are, and the evidence. We don't invent rumors to fill space.

Will GTA VI get an online mode?

The claim: A multiplayer component will follow the single-player launch.

Evidence: Rockstar has promoted GTA VI as a single-player game, and coverage of the pre-order announcement notes that no online mode has been announced, though one is widely expected. For context, Grand Theft Auto V's online mode, GTA Online, launched on October 1, 2013, about two weeks after the game itself.

Our take: Plausible, but unconfirmed. Treat any specific online feature claims as rumor until Rockstar announces them.

When is GTA VI coming to PC?

The claim: A PC version will release some time after the console launch.

Evidence: Rockstar's official page lists only PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. History is our only guide: Grand Theft Auto V reached consoles in 2013 and PC in 2015. That pattern says nothing certain about GTA VI's timing.

Our take: No PC version is announced. Any specific PC date you see is speculation.

Celebrity radio hosts

The claim: Well-known artists voice the DJs on GTA VI's radio stations (for example Bad Bunny on Cocoteo, Lana Del Rey and Morgan Wallen on Back Country, and Kerry King and Tom Araya on The Chamber).

Evidence: Rockstar's music page lists each station's in-game DJ names (such as El Martillo and La Gata on Cocoteo, MW and Delta Dawne on Back Country). Forbes and Man of Many both attribute the real artists behind those DJs to Rockstar's announcement. We could see the in-game DJ names on Rockstar's page but not the real artists' names in the page text we could read.

Our take: Very likely accurate. The DJ characters are confirmed by Rockstar; the real-artist casting is reported by several outlets that credit Rockstar.

Review embargo on November 18?

The claim: Reviews of GTA VI will go live on November 18, the day before launch.

Evidence: Two separate claims now point to the same date. A leak report on October 24, 2026 named November 18, and on October 26 the insider NateTheHate posted on X that Rockstar had started sending review codes to media, with a November 18 embargo. Several outlets have repeated the claim, but Rockstar and Take-Two haven't confirmed any embargo date, and no outlet has publicly said it received a code.

Our take: Unconfirmed. Two separate claims agree, so it's plausible, but treat it as a rumor until Rockstar or reviewers confirm it.
